Your floor plan is read in your browser
When you drop a plan, the image is read by code running in your browser: walls, doors, rooms and furniture are found on your device, not on our servers. A plan dropped on this site goes to the app tab to tab, inside your browser. Until you buy a flat or subscribe, the recognised flat is kept only in your browser’s local storage, which clearing your browser data removes.
What we keep once you sign in or buy
- Your account. Your email address, and your name and profile picture if you sign in with Google. Signing in by email sends you a one-time link.
- Your flats. A flat you buy, or open on a subscription, is saved to your account so you can open it again anywhere: the recognised plan, the drawing it came from and a small picture of it. You can delete any of them from your list of plans, and their images go with them.
- Shared links. A flat you share can be seen by anyone with its link, without the drawing. You can stop sharing at any time, and the link stops working.
- Your logo, if you upload one on Pro. It is shown on the flats you share.
- Payments. Stripe handles card details; we never see them. We keep the Stripe customer id, what you bought and the state of your subscription.
- Counting flats. A signed cookie with a random id for your browser, and a one-way hash of your network address, used to count the flats a subscription opens and to limit abuse. The hash can’t be turned back into your address.
What else we collect
- Contact form. If you write to us on the pricing page, we receive your email and your message through our form provider, and use them only to answer.
- Server logs. Our host keeps standard request logs (IP address, page, browser) for security and to keep the service running.
We don’t sell data and don’t use advertising trackers.
Deleting your data
Delete a flat from your list of plans and it is gone from our servers. To delete your account and everything in it, write to us through the form on the pricing page from the email you sign in with.
