Your floor plan is read in your browser

When you drop a plan, the image is read by code running in your browser: walls, doors, rooms and furniture are found on your device, not on our servers. A plan dropped on this site goes to the app tab to tab, inside your browser. Until you buy an apartment or subscribe, the recognized apartment is kept only in your browser’s local storage, which clearing your browser data removes.

What we keep once you sign in or buy

What else we collect

We don’t sell data and don’t use advertising trackers.

Analytics and cookies

If you agree in the cookie banner, we use Google Analytics to count visits: which pages people read, where they came from, and which steps of the app they reach (uploading a plan, whether it was read, the offer, checkout and purchase, the 3D view, sharing). When you are signed in, it also gets your account’s random id, so your visits on a phone and a laptop count as one person; never your email or name. It sets the cookies _ga and _ga_… on floorto3d.com, kept up to two years, and Google keeps the data for 14 months. Google Analytics doesn’t store your IP address, and your floor plans are never sent to it.

If you say no, or don’t answer, Google Analytics isn’t loaded and sets no cookies. Either way we keep one cookie, consent, for six months, to remember your answer. A second, locale, remembers for a year whether you read the international or the US version of the site. Change your cookie settings at any time; saying no removes the Analytics cookies.

Deleting your data

Delete an apartment from your list of plans and it is gone from our servers. To delete your account and everything in it, choose Delete account in the account menu: your apartments, their links and pictures and your logo are deleted at once, and a subscription ends. Stripe keeps its record of your payments, as tax law requires.
