The palette
- Pale celadon
- Eucalyptus
- Jade
- Microcement
Why it’s in fashion
Muted greens have become one of the most popular kitchen colors, and they pair naturally with oak and plants.
Works best for
North-facing rooms that need warmth without yellow, small kitchens, and homes with lots of plants.
Before you renovate
- Green shifts with the light: try a sample on a north wall and a south wall before you buy the paint.
- One green surface per room is enough, fronts or a wall or the sofa, with oak and linen around it.
- Microcement needs a skilled fitter and a sealed finish in the bathroom; large porcelain tiles are the cheaper look-alike.

What changes, room by room
| Living room and bedrooms | Natural oak floor, pale celadon walls, a eucalyptus or jade feature wall |
|---|---|
| Hall and bathroom | Seamless microcement floor, light metro tiles, a green zellige feature wall |
| Kitchen | Sage-green fronts |
| Furniture | Olive or moss sofa, oak tables, linen curtains, white planters |
