One apartment or many?
If you are looking at one apartment, to buy, rent or renovate, pay per apartment: $29 with FloorTo3D, or $20 per plan with RoomSketcher. A subscription costs more than that in its first month. Comparing two or three apartments before you buy? FloorTo3D sells three for $59: the one you are looking at now, and two kept for the plans you upload later. WalkMyHome asks $47 for three projects, paid before you see your own plan. If you list apartments for a living, a subscription is cheaper per apartment from about the second apartment a month: Starter is $39 a month for 5 new apartments, Pro $129 for 30. Yearly plans cost ten months.
What a price should include
- Seeing it before paying. FloorTo3D reads your plan in the browser and shows the walls, rooms and floor area first; you pay to walk it, keep it and share it.
- Furniture. Some tools place it for you, some leave you to do it, made-to-order services charge for changes.
- A walkthrough. First-person walking is a paid tier in several apps; a 360° tour is a separate price at Getfloorplan.
- Styles and sunlight. Renovation styles are an extra at Getfloorplan ($115 for three); FloorTo3D includes five.
- Refunds. A FloorTo3D apartment or pack of three bought on its own is refunded in full within 14 days.
